Scope
This policy applies to the SKWS website, customer accounts, support requests, order requests, fulfillment, returns, and related communications. SKWS is responsible for the personal information it collects through these activities.
Information collected
SKWS may collect name, email, telephone number, delivery and return addresses, account identifier, order contents, model/SKU, payment-method choice, order status, customer notes, consent records, policy versions accepted, support correspondence, carrier and tracking information, return information, and security or diagnostic data such as IP address, browser, timestamps, and request logs.
SKWS does not request bank credentials at website checkout. Bank-transfer details are sent privately after order verification. Customers should not email passwords, online-banking credentials, one-time codes, or full payment-card data.
Purposes and legal basis
Information is used to provide quotes, validate destinations, estimate taxes, prevent duplicate or abusive requests, reserve inventory, confirm orders and final totals, process COD or bank-transfer workflows, ship and track parcels, provide support, manage returns and warranty requests, maintain records, secure the service, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims. Where consent is required, the site requests it for the stated purpose. Other processing may be necessary to perform the requested transaction or meet legal obligations.
Sharing
SKWS may share only necessary information with hosting and database providers, authentication providers, UPS, USPS, FedEx, communications providers, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement when legally required, and service providers supporting fraud prevention, security, fulfillment, or support. SKWS does not sell personal information. The hosting platform may collect limited aggregate pageview and technical measurement data for service operation. Advertising pixels, cross-site marketing profiles, and personalized-ad tracking are not active unless a separate choice mechanism and notice are implemented.
Cross-border processing
Service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or another location where they operate. Information can be subject to the laws of that location. SKWS applies contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and data involved.
Retention
Order, policy-acceptance, fulfillment, tax, refund, and dispute records are retained for the period reasonably required for customer support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and claims. Support and security records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose. Data may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived when no longer required.
Security
SKWS uses encrypted transport, restricted owner access, server-side validation, rate limiting, database constraints, private receipt tokens, and other reasonable safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact support promptly if you believe an account, order, or message has been compromised.
Privacy choices and requests
Subject to applicable law, a person may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about SKWS’s processing. SKWS may verify identity before responding and may retain information required by law or legitimate records obligations. Submit a request through the Support page or the contact details above.
Children
The store is intended for adults able to enter a purchase transaction. SKWS does not knowingly solicit personal information from children for independent purchasing.
Changes
Material changes are posted with a new effective date. The policy version accepted for an order is preserved with that order.
